HKBU presents Professor Emeritus titles and Long Service Awards

Long Service Award recipients share the joyous moment with their fellow colleagues.

HKBU conferred the title of Professor Emeritus on 10 retiring professors at the Milestone In Service Ceremony on 30 June, and it also gave Long Service Awards to more than 300 long serving and retiring colleagues in honour of their loyalty and dedication to the University.

The Professors Emeritus are (by Department/Office):

Professor Eva Man (Academy of Film)

Professor Helan Yang (Academy of Music, formerly the Department of Music)

Professor Besset Leung (Academy of Visual Arts)

Professor Zhou Qiming (Department of Geography)

Professor Huang Yu (Department of Journalism)

Professor Noel Fook (Department of Marketing)

Professor Ellen Zhang (Department of Religion and Philosophy)

Professor Seguire Chan (Department of Religion and Philosophy)

Professor Cheung Siu-yin (Department of Sport, Physical Education and Health)

Professor Zhao Zhongzhen (School of Chinese Medicine - Teaching and Research Division)

In addition, more than 300 colleagues who have served the University for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 or 40 years received the Long Service Award.
