Academy of Film alumna named Best Supporting Actress at Asian Film Awards

Ms Rachel Leung Yung-ting, an alumna of the Academy of Film, won the “Best Supporting Actress” award with In Broad Daylight at the 17th Asian Film Awards. The presentation ceremony took place on 10 March.

Professor Ellen Seiter, Director of the Academy of Film, said: “We are committed to providing top-notch education in cinematic-arts and creative media, nurturing talented professionals capable of contributing to the arts and cultural industries. Rachel is an outstanding alumna of the Academy and her win marks an extraordinary achievement for an actress.”

The Asian Film Awards is organised by the Asian Film Awards Academy, a non-profit organisation founded by the Busan, Hong Kong, and Tokyo International Film Festivals, aiming to celebrate excellence in Asian cinema.
