Film scholar and alumna win awards at Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum

Mr Adam Wong Sau-ping and Ms Oliver Chan Siu-kuen, Associate Professor of Practice and alumna of the Academy of Film respectively, won recognition at the 22nd Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) on 13 March.

Mr Adam Wong was awarded the CCG Grand Award for his work, The Way We Talk. Ms Oliver Chan was honoured with the Work-in-Progress Award for her new work, Montages of a Modern Motherhood, which was also selected for the HAF Goes to Cannes Program.

The HAF is the flagship event of the Hong Kong International Film Festival Industry Office, serving as the premier film financing platform in Asia. Every year, it brings Asian filmmakers to Hong Kong to collaborate on their work-in-progress film projects, supporting and nurturing local filmmakers.
