HKBU hosted its JUPAS Consultation Day on 15 May, attracting around 500 students and parents to its admission talks and mini-fair.

Ms Sam Wong, Head of the Admissions Office at HKBU, delivered an admission talk to provide participants with the latest updates regarding the University’s admissions, including recent admission developments and the evolving admission policies and criteria. Her presentation offered prospective students a clear understanding of the opportunities available, enabling them to plan their academic future with confidence.

HKBU has invited the Student Guidance Consultant at Hok Yau Club’s Student Guidance Centre, Mr Ng Po-shing, to share his insights on "Strategies for JUPAS Programme Selection".  He provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the JUPAS system and offered valuable guidance on key factors to be considered in making their programme choices before and after the release of the HKDSE results.

A highlight of the event is the admission talk given by Ms Assunta Ng, Coordinator of the Talented Athletes Direct Admission Scheme (TADAS) at HKBU, which offers an alternative pathway for applicants with talents in sports to pursue academic development alongside their sporting careers. Under TADAS, HKBU offers student-athletes personalised mentorship, academic counselling, psychological guidance and career planning, along with flexible study arrangements, demonstrating the University’s commitment to nurturing student-athletes.

Following the admission talks, participants joined the mini-fair and actively interacted with HKBU professors and current students to gain in-depth insights into the programmes and related information of the 22 JUPAS programme choices offered by HKBU, in preparation of the upcoming JUPAS result announcement in July.
