On 25 November 1994, Hong Kong Baptist College was officially renamed Hong Kong Baptist University. To commemorate this significant milestone, then President Dr Daniel Tse composed the University Anthem, capturing the spirit and vision of the University.
The newly orchestrated version of the University Anthem was produced by Mr Ronald Fu, an alumnus of the Academy of Music of the Hong Kong Baptist University. This recording features the University Symphony Orchestra and Cantoria, and was recorded at the Teldex Studio Berlin in 2024.

O Southern Sea, O Lion Hill, Home of our College Hall
Where East and West unite their best, For greater good of all
With all our hearts and all our minds we God and man will serve
Our glorious past, our mission new, will build a better world
Through winding path and thorny trail, the trophy proud attained,
O Baptist U, our founders’ dream, our faith and hope maintained,
In the boundless sea of learning deep, a beacon bright of truth,
In kindness and in thoughtfulness, nurture the hopes of youth
