HKBU’s Centre for Holistic Teaching and Learning (CHTL) recently signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Teaching and Learning with National Sun Yat-sen University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The collaboration will enable the two universities to work as partners and gain mutual benefits from sharing the use of teaching resources.

The Memorandum is effective for two years from 30 May 2014. It covers some key areas of cooperation that include enhancing students’ achievement of learning outcomes, strengthening professional development of faculty members, developing a joint question bank for existing academic standardised tests, and providing an objective platform for a productive exchange of ideas and experience among faculties, staff and students.

Representing the two groups in signing the Memorandum were Dr Eva Wong, Director of CHTL, and Professor Lio Mon-chi, Academic Registrar of National Sun Yat-sen University.
