More than 25,000 prospective applicants and visitors joined HKBU’s Information Day for Undergraduate Admission held on campus on 4 October. They gained the most updated information on curriculum and the development of the University as well as experienced HKBU’s vibrant campus life.
At the featured talk “Navigate JUPAS admissions, explore HKBU programmes”, Mr Joe Tsui, Chairperson, and Mr Ho Chun-yan, Committee Member of the Hong Kong Association of Careers Masters and Guidance Masters, together with representatives from the seven Faculties/Schools/Academy briefed visitors about strategies for JUPAS application and provided in-depth information on HKBU undergraduate programmes. Dr So Kwok-sang, Academic Registrar, also delivered informative admission talks, one on JUPAS and another on Non-JUPAS.
Visitors also met with scholars, students and alumni to learn more about individual programmes, admission requirements and career prospects at briefings and sharing sessions organised by various Faculties/Schools/Academy.
Guided tours were conducted by student ambassadors, giving visitors a first-hand look at different campuses, student residence halls, and other teaching facilities and laboratories so they could learn more about HKBU’s ethos of whole person education and sample the rich and diversified on-campus experience.
