Accounting undergraduate named outstanding student by CPA Australia

Bethany Leung, Year 4 student in the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accountancy degree programme, was recently presented the Outstanding Student of the Year award by CPA Australia in recognition of her excellent academic performance. Bethany is one of the 12 awardees this year who will be offered a scholarship, admission into a half-year mentorship programme and networking opportunities to acquire the skills essential for a successful career in accounting.

 

Bethany said: “I am honoured to receive this recognition from CPA Australia which attests my academic standing and leadership qualities. It provides me with a precious opportunity to meet with business leaders so that I may enhance my understanding of developments in the accounting industry.”
