HKBU research team wins outstanding poster award in international seminar

An HKBU research team won an Outstanding Poster Presentation Award during the “6th Summit Forum on Guidance and Counseling of Cross-Strait Colleges cum the 2015 Academic Seminar in Guidance and Counseling of Chinese Community” held recently in Taiwan.

The team comprised Dr Dennis Chan, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Education Studies, Ms Vicki Kwan, Psychological Counsellor and Ms Chloe Li, Assessment and Evaluation Officer, Counselling and Development Centre, Student Affairs Office. They presented to the audience the Whole Person Development Inventory, its development and the profile of its normative data.

Developed by HKBU’s Student Affairs Office and professors from different departments, the Whole Person Development Inventory is the first psychological assessment tool to measure whole person development of tertiary students of Chinese ethnicity.
