Education Studies Department hosts international conference to explore development of new media for education

Experts discuss impact of new media on learning outcomes in the panel discussion

The Department of Education Studies and the Hong Kong Association for Educational Communications and Technology recently co-organised the HKAECT 2018 International conference with the theme  “New media for educational change: Effect on learning and reflection on practice”. 
 

The three-day conference, with  eight tracks covering topics such as “New media in everyday life”, “Learning analytics and AI in education”, and “Game-based learning” attracted over 60 submissions from countries and regions including Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan, USA, South Korea, United Kingdom, and the Philippines . A total of 16 papers were selected and included  in the conference proceedings published by Springer.
