02 Nov 2018

The School of Chinese Medicine (SCM) has co-organised the “Promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China — Hong Kong Programme” campaign with the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the PRC, HKSAR’s Food and Health Bureau and the Department of Health.

Carrying the theme of promoting the health culture of Chinese medicine and enhancing public health literacy, the programme aims to popularise the use of Chinese medicine in public healthcare.

Last week, SCM co-organised a Chinese medicine exhibition and an academic forum featuring talks by national masters of Chinese medicine. Professor Zhou Daihan, Chief Physician of No 1 Affiliated Hospital of the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine; Professor Zhang Zhongde, Associate Director of the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine; and Professor Yan Weibing from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, were invited to share their valuable clinical practice experience.

The School will also organise free consultation days at Lui Seng Chun and a series of health seminars. For details of the activities, please visit: http://www.cmd.gov.hk/html/eng/promoTCM/index.html.
