Outstanding General Education students receive academic excellence award

The 2018-19 General Education Outstanding Students Award presentation ceremony was held on 22 January to recognise students who have excellent academic results in GE courses, active participation in GE activities, and enthusiastic engagement with community services. The Award is sponsored by the HKBU Century Club.

The five recipients were Chan Hong-kei (Chinese Medicine and Biomedical Science, Year 3), Han Jiatong (Finance, Year 3), Leung Cheuk-lam (Religion, Philosophy and Ethics, Year 3), Sun Yutong (Government and International Studies, Year 2) and Wong Tsz-tung (Chemistry, Year 3).

Following the ceremony, Mr Po Chung, co-founder of DHL International and Chairman of the Hong Kong Institute of Service Leadership and Management, delivered a guest talk entitled “Excellence in Leadership. Simply Delivered”. During the speech, Mr Chung shared his legendary story and top leadership tips with the awardees and participants.
