HKBU hosts dinner in honour of current and former members of the Council and the Court

The University hosted its Council and Court Dinner yesterday (26 February), bidding farewell to the outgoing Chairman and members of the Council and the Court, while also welcoming new members to HKBU.

 

In appreciation of their tremendous contributions to the University, Dr Clement Chen, Chairman of the Council and the Court, and Professor Roland Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor, presented mementoes to the former Chairman Mr Cheng Yan-kee, who has served the University for 20 years, and the retired Council members including Ms Mabel Chan, Ms Scarlett Pong and Ms Karen Tang.

 

In his remarks, President Chin, on behalf of the University, welcomed Chairman Dr Clement Chen, Council members including Mr Chui Wing-on, Rev Dr Lo Hing-choi, Ms So Ching and Ms Connie Wong, as well as Court member Rev Lam Hoi-sing.
