Outstanding HKBU science student awarded innovation and technology scholarship

Thomas Wu (Applied Biology, Year 2) has been awarded an HK$150,000 scholarship from the Innovation and Technology Scholarship Award Scheme 2019. The scholarship will support his neuroscience studies in Singapore for one semester later this year.


Thomas is interested in learning more about brain health, new technology and the medical treatment of Alzheimer's disease. This is particularly important to him as one of his family members used to have dementia. As a result, he is looking forward to this overseas experience and hopes it will help further his studies in relation to neuroscience and Alzheimer's disease.
