“If I can do it, you can do it too.”
Associate Head of Government and International Studies Dr Tushar Chaudhuri was born in India and studied German from scratch at university. For the past 14 years, he has been teaching German at HKBU. Following attempts to use obsolete cassette players to teach the language that resulted in ridicule by his students, he was inspired to use innovative teaching methods and developed an online platform for students to learn German by engaging in real-life conversations with overseas partners. He recently received an award from the University for his outstanding performance in teaching. His experience shows current students what they can achieve when they put their minds to something.
