HKBU recognises four distinguished alumni

The Eighth Distinguished Alumni Award Presentation Ceremony was held on 3 August by HKBU to recognise four eminent alumni – namely Professor Chan Wing-kwong (Chinese Medicine), Mr Cheng Tan-shui (Communication), Professor Leo Poon Lit-man (Applied Biology) and Mr Patrick Tsang Shun-fuk (Accounting) – for their outstanding business, professional or scholarly achievements, as well as their immense contributions to the University and society at large.

Short videos highlighting the milestones and accomplishments of the Award recipients were shown at the Award Presentation Ceremony. After the Ceremony, the Award recipients shared their career development stories, personal endeavours, and bits of life wisdom with a full house of guests, students and alumni at the sharing session “A Dialogue with Distinguished Alumni”, which was moderated by alumnus Professor Ronald Chiu Ying-chun. Pre-recorded video messages by Mr Cheng Tan-shui, who was not able to attend, were shown at both the Ceremony and the sharing session. The event was also live-streamed to the HKBU Community.
