HKBU co-organised the Health Management and Social Care Online Expo.

 

The Health Management and Social Care Online Expo 2022, organised by the Curriculum Development Institute of the Education Bureau, was held from 8 to 11 August. The Faculty of Social Sciences at HKBU was one of the co-organisers of the event.

The Expo, with the theme “Healthcare Industries and Innovative Solutions of Health Management and Social Care”, consisted of a virtual exhibition and a series of online workshops. It attracted the participation of more than 450 secondary school students. A number of HKBU scholars shared their social innovation solutions from different perspectives, such as health care, public health and environmental protection. They also illustrated different aspects of health management and social care.

Health management and social care is an elective subject in secondary schools. The event aimed to increase students’ understanding of the curriculum of the subject and related industries, and it also sought to encourage secondary students to comprehend local social issues.
