Director of Information Technology wins CSO30 ASEAN Award

Mr Allan Wong has received the CSO30 ASEAN Award 2022.

 

Mr Allan Wong, Director of Information Technology at HKBU, has received the CSO30 ASEAN Award 2022 presented by CSO, a platform for chief security officers and senior executives, in recognition of his excellent leadership and contributions to the University’s cybersecurity developments.

The CSO30 ASEAN Awards 2022 recognised the top 30 senior cybersecurity executives who have driven the business values, demonstrated leadership and influenced changes across Southeast Asia. Nominees were judged based on the cybersecurity initiatives introduced in their enterprises over the past two years, as well as how they collaborated with and influenced their teams to enhance cybersecurity and resilience within their enterprises.

Recently Mr Wong also received the CIO100 awards 2022 presented by CIO, a media platform for enterprise chief information officers (CIOs) and business technology executives, in recognition of his vision and execution of the University’s digital transformation journey.
