Student Cheung Ka-long scoops bronze medal at World Cup in Paris

Cheung Ka-long, a Year 1 student of the Physical Education and Recreation Management programme and a member of the Hong Kong Fencing Team, won the bronze medal in the Men's Individual Foil at the World Cup series held in Paris this month.

During the tournament, Ka-long beat fencers from Germany, Italy, Hungary and France to reach the semi-final on 15 January, where he met with a competitor from the US and settled for the bronze medal.
