HKBU Cultural Night celebrates diversity and promotes exchange

HKBU hosts Cultural Night to promote cultural exchange.

The "Cultural Night" marks the first large-scale event organised by the International Association in three years.

 

HKBU’s International Association (IA) co-hosted "Cultural Night" with the Undergraduate Halls on 31 March at the Podium of the Academic and Administration Building. Supported by the Funding of the Global Engagement Squad of the Office of Student Affairs, it marked the first large-scale event organised by the IA in three years due to the pandemic and served as the closing event for the Cultural Weeks.

Booths representing 11 countries and regions were set up to serve various foods with decorations in distinct cultural colours. Attendees were treated to a range of cultural performances, including singing, dancing, and performance of musical instruments from Kazakhstan. The booths and performances were prepared by students from different countries and regions. They spared no effort to provide an opportunity for students to learn more about different cultures, promote cultural exchange, and showcase their talents.
