Ten websites of the Office of Student Affairs have clinched the Gold Award under the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme for three consecutive years for the first time. To mark this outstanding achievement, the websites were honoured with the distinguished Triple Gold Award.
The award-winning websites are the Office’s homepage, and its sub websites for Campus and Amenities Unit, Career Centre, Co-curricular Learning, Counselling and Development Centre, Leadership Qualities Centre, Mainland Student Services Unit, Scholarships and Financial Aid Unit, Student Accommodation Section, and the Unit for Students with Special Educational Needs.
The Scheme was launched by the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited and co-organised by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer. It aims to recognise and acknowledge the contributions and commitments made by enterprises and organisations to adopt accessibility design in their websites and mobile applications, facilitating the building of an inclusive society.
