Student Cheung Ka-long scoops team bronze medal at Fencing World Championships

Cheung Ka-long, a student of the Physical Education and Recreation Management programme, together with his teammates at the Hong Kong Fencing Team, won the bronze medal in the Men’s Team Foil at the 2023 Fencing World Championships organised by the International Fencing Federation in Milan.

Ka-long and his teammates defeated the US team, which has a #1 ranking in the world, with a score of 45:31 in the bronze medal match on 30 July, and achieved Hong Kong’s best-ever performance in this tournament.
