HKBU welcomes new colleagues at Orientation Day

As the new academic year approaches, the Human Resources Office organised the annual welcome ceremony “Orientation Day for New Academic, Teaching and Administrative Staff” on 24 August to help more than 120 new staff embark on their exciting academic and professional journey at the University.

Professor Alexander Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor; Professor Martin Wong, Provost; Professor Lyu Aiping, Vice-President (Research and Development); Dr Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning); and Professor Terence Lau, Interim Chief Innovation Officer, shared the University’s strategic directions and latest developments.

Representatives of the Office of Information Technology, Research Office and Office of Student Affairs shared respectively the University-wide IT services, research resources and student profiles for new talents to settle into the University work environment quickly.
