Carman expressed her gratitude for the opportunities and support offered by the University throughout her studies. She will continue to serve the education sector and society in different roles, and showcase the quality of Hong Kong youth. She believes that every experience has a meaning, and young people should actively engage in service and sharing, pass on their knowledge and values, and have confidence in themselves.
Nearly 100 tertiary students competed for the Outstanding Tertiary Student of Hong Kong award this year. The event aims to discover, celebrate and nurture tertiary students with potential and who care deeply about society and the future development of the Greater Bay Area. It also promotes students’ sense of national identity and holistic development, by inspiring them with the stories of the award recipients, and encouraging them to take ownership and make contributions to society.
