Lau Chi-lung, a student of the Physical Education and Recreation Management programme, won a gold medal in the Men’s Nanquan event and a bronze medal in the Men’s Nandao event at the 16th World Wushu Championships held in the US.

With his remarkable performance, Chi-lung first secured a bronze medal in the Men’s Nandao event on 18 November, and then went on to win a gold medal in the Men’s Nanquan event the next day, capturing his first championship title in an international wushu competition.
