Four outstanding HKBU students clinch The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships

Four HKBU undergraduate students have been awarded 2022-23 The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships in recognition of their outstanding academic performance and commitment to serving the community.

The winners are Cheng Xinya (Innovation in Health and Social Well-Being, Year 2), Lau Zhi-yi (Chinese Medicine, Year 2), So Chun-yat (Chinese Medicine, Year 2), and Wong Chi-lun (Music in Creative Industries, Year 2).

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust marked the 25th anniversary of its Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships at a dinner on 2 November and granted new scholarships to 106 students. Since 1998, the Trust has been awarding annual scholarships to students who combine outstanding academic performance with a strong commitment to serving the community, with the aim of nurturing them to become caring leaders for a better society.
