52 HKBU distinguished scholars are ranked as the world’s top 2% most-cited scientists in 2023 by Stanford University.

 

52 HKBU distinguished scholars are ranked as the world’s top 2% most-cited scientists in 2023 by Stanford University, demonstrating the University's expanding research strength and impact across the world. 

The ranking is complied with the database created by Professor John P.A. Ioannidis and his research team from Stanford University. The research achievements of scholars are classified into 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields, and evaluated for their career-long and single-year (2022) impact.
