HKBU start-ups showcase at the exhibition of Asia Summit on Global Health

Ten HKBU start-ups participate in the exhibition of the Asia Summit and Global Health 2024.

Ten HKBU start-ups participated in the “InnoHealth Showcase” exhibition of the Asia Summit on Global Health 2024, exploring the prospects and business opportunities in the Asian healthcare industry. Representatives from three of these start-ups also engaged in the project promotion sessions, introducing affordable and convenient medical and diagnostic tools to the public during the thematic sessions of "AI & Digital Health" and "Medical Devices & Diagnostics".

Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, Associate Vice-President (Clinical Chinese Medicine), along with Dr Ashok Iyaswamy, Research Assistant Professor of the Teaching and Research Division of the School of Chinese Medicine, served as guest speakers at the conference, sharing their insights on "Chinese Medicine in Modern Healthcare" and "Investing in the Future of Neuroscience", respectively.

The event attracted participants from 40 countries and regions, providing a multidisciplinary platform for healthcare industry leaders and professionals, and facilitating exchange and collaboration among global stakeholders in the healthcare industry.

Participating HKBU start-ups include Booguu Limited, Hong Kong Authentication Centre of Valuable Chinese Medicines Limited, EC Bot Limited, Gihon Biotech Limited, HK-Dtech Limited, MicroFlow Innovation Limited, MIND and Tech Limited, GastroEase Biotech Limited, BioTechnology and Natural Products for Health Development Limited, Advanced Point-of-care Molecular Systems for Clinical and Non-clinical Applications.
