HKBU athletes bring home medals from Asian University Wushu Championship

Two HKBU athletes claimed one gold and one bronze medal at the inaugural Asian University Wushu Championship held at Harbin from 19 to 22 June.

Lai Yat-hei, a Year 1 student of the Physical Education and Recreation Management programme, won a gold medal in the Men’s Traditional Weapon category,  showcasing his all-rounded development and flair for striking an excellent balance between sports and academics.

Mr Sat Pak-long, an alumnus, also won a bronze medal in the Men’s Tai Chi Quan event in the competition.
