The School of Business delegation visited the Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (BNU-HKBU UIC) on 27 May to strengthen the ties between the two universities.
Led by Professor Cheng Yuk-shing, Interim Dean of the School of Business, the visit facilitated an in-depth discussion involving representatives from both institutions, exploring ways to leverage their respective strengths and resources to create a win-win cooperation.
Professor Cheng highlighted HKBU’s relentless pursuit of transdisciplinary research and outlined the future direction of its School of Business curriculum, focusing on artificial intelligence literacy as well as Environmental, Social and Governance, and the business application of new technologies.
Professor Chen Zhi, President of BNU-HKBU UIC, welcomed the delegation and proposed a multifaceted collaboration between BNU-HKBU UIC and HKBU, aligning with the “one university, two campuses” model. The proposed collaboration encompassed student exchange programmes, joint teaching, research cooperation, resource sharing, and dual faculty appointments.
