Director of Information Technology wins CIO 200 recognition

Mr Allan Wong wins the World CIO 200 Summit 2024 Hong Kong Edition for the second year in a row.

 

Mr Allan Wong, Director of Information Technology, was selected as a winner for the World CIO 200 Summit 2024 Hong Kong Edition in the Legend category, in recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions to the IT industry. He is the only Chief Information Officer (CIO) from the higher education institutes in the Mainland and Hong Kong to receive the honour.

The World CIO 200 Summit is organised by the Global CIO Forum, a non-profit association whose mission is to facilitate networking, sharing of best practices and executive development, and to collaborate on issues faced by the CIOs and IT Executives.

At the summit held in Singapore on 26 July, Mr Wong and other worldwide CIOs and IT leaders were presented the awards. The event also included  a series of talks and expert panel discussions to foster a dynamic exchange of insights and strategic deliberations among the technology and business leaders.
