Cheung Ka-long named top men’s foil fencer; Ngai Wai-yan praised by Chief Executive

Cheung Ka-long, a student from the Physical Education and Recreation Management (PERM) programme, was named the Annual Award-winning Senior Top-Ranked Individual Fencer at the 2024 FIE Congress of the International Fencing Federation in Uzbekistan, making history by achieving the year-end top-ranked position in men’s foil for the first time.

Ngai Wai-yan, who is also a student from the PERM programme, received the Chief Executive’s Commendation for Community Service from the HKSAR Government, in recognition of her excellent performance in windsurfing competitions and her dedication to community service aimed at enhancing the quality of life for others.
