The Centre for Innovative Service-Learning hosted the "Social Innovation Togetherness" Market Carnival at the social innovation co-working space TriAngle on 25 and 26 January, attracting over 1,600 visitors including HKBU students, staff and members of the public. The event encouraged participants to support sustainable development while sharing the joy of the festive season.

The market carnival featured participation from 11 local social enterprises, 12 HKBU student teams, and one pre-incubation stage social innovation project. It brought together social innovators across various ages, professions, industries, and backgrounds, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their innovative products and services while gathering valuable insights for making future enhancements. HKBU students also conducted market testing for their innovative ideas.

In addition to selling thoughtful seasonal gifts and handmade products, the event included workshops and musical performances. Some stall vendors even donated a portion of their proceeds to support socially disadvantaged groups in the community.
