A team consisting of Leo Wong Kit-lam and Jordan Lau Ching-nam, Animation and Media Arts Concentration students of the Academy of Film, along with two teammates from other universities, won the championship at the "Disney Imaginations Hong Kong Design Competition 2025” organised by the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. They triumphed over nearly 200 teams from the local, Greater Bay Area and overseas institutions.

The winning team named E13 was awarded a cash prize of HKD 25,000, an exclusive trip to another Disney park, and a three-month hands-on work experience at Walt Disney Imagineering Hong Kong. The team has designed  a conceptual spaceship that combines anti-gravity engines with clean energy. It serves not only as an animal conservation centre but also as a hotel that simulates animal and ecological environments, providing people with a unique experience.

This year, over 640 participants from institutions around the world formed nearly 200 teams. Eight of the teams entered the finals, taking on the challenge of envisioning life in the year 2124 and designing an engaging and educational experience to address global issues.
