Chow Man-sin (Bachelor of Arts in Music, Year 2), Fung Wing-man (Bachelor of Arts, Year 2) and Lo Tsz-ching (Bachelor of Arts and Social Work, Year 2) have been awarded The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships 2023-24 in recognition of their exceptional academic performance, exemplary personal character, strong leadership skills, and deep commitment to serving the community.
The Scholarships and Fellowships Award Presentation Ceremony and High Table Dinner of The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) was held on 17 March. During the dinner, current HKJC scholars and graduating scholars from different tertiary education institutions had the valuable chance to network with each other. Many shared their stories about how the scholarship has positively influenced their lives and inspired them to contribute to society. HKBU scholars expressed sincere appreciation for the unwavering support of HKJC and said they would continue to strive for excellence and serve the communities.
HKJC has consistently supported education and talent development in Hong Kong. Since their establishment in 1998, these scholarships have focused on cultivating compassionate leaders for the betterment of society. To date, over HK$891 million has been distributed, benefiting more than 1,100 outstanding students in Hong Kong.
