HKBU Community Service Day 2026 engages toddlers and parents with creative activities

The Leadership Qualities Centre of the Office of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children (HKSPC), invited approximately 350 families to HKBU to participate in its Community Service Day 2026 on 7 March. A team of 15 student leaders designed a series of engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs and abilities of toddlers, demonstrating the service spirit and leadership qualities of HKBU students.

The event was supported by the Tin Ka Ping Foundation and recruited 40 student volunteers to assist with the activities led by the student leaders. The activities included a cardboard maze adventure, drama performances with magic elements, interactive games, and a Chinese kite handicraft workshop. The student volunteers also supported the booths hosted by HKSPC. Together, HKBU students created a joyful and unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
