HKBU students clinch two gold medals at Brasília 2026 FISU World University Championship Combat Sports

Tsang Cho-kiu, a first-year student in the Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree programme, and Lee Suet-ying, a first-year student of the College of International Education, won gold medals in the Women’s Nandao and Women’s Nanquan events, respectively, at the Brasília 2026 FISU World University Championship Combat Sports held in Brazil from 8 to 13 June. Their outstanding achievements brought great honour to the University and showcased the talent and dedication of HKBU’s student athletes on the international stage. Mr Kilo Wong, Lecturer of the Department of Sports and Health Sciences, served as the Head of the Hong Kong, China Delegation.
