In the online SEED Talk on 3 July entitled “Change for the Better”, Mr Julian Law, Managing Partner of Jervois One, encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones to try something new, especially when they are under the age of 40. Mr Law said that he is grateful that his work experience in the legal field, and with the HKSAR Government and the public relations industry, has allowed him to experience three different lives, even though he can only live once.

HKBU alumna Miss Angel Cheng, Founder of Build A Music School and General Manager of Jervois One, said at the same event that every observation is an obligation and that one should be undaunted to change for the better when he or she observes a need. This was also the reason why she set up a music school in Myanmar.

Moderated by Dr Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) of HKBU, the two acclaimed public relations professionals had a discussion with Sami Awan, a Public Relations and Advertising Year 4 student, and Trista Tung, a Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies Year 4 student. They also answered questions from the online audience. The talk can be viewed here.
