28 Jun 2024
Pride, friendship and excitement filled the air on campus this month as the University celebrates the graduating Class of 2024.
Held from 5 to 14 June, the 65th Commencement Ceremony and the related events brought together graduating students, their friends and families to celebrate this milestone in life.
Professor Alex Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor, and faculty members saluted the resilience and commitment of the Class of 2024, whose years at HKBU were marked by the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic.
For some students, the highlight of their university experience was working hard to achieve their academic goals. Others have built treasured friendships, and some students made use of the knowledge and skills they have acquired to explore different opportunities. With the all-round education they have gained at HKBU, the Class of 2024 is well prepared to begin a new chapter in their lives and shape the future.
