HKBU congratulates Chan Ho-yuen on winning bronze medal in badminton event at Asian Para Games

Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) congratulates its student Chan Ho-yuen, a member of the Para Badminton Team of Hong Kong, China, for his exceptional performance in winning the bronze medal in the Men’s Singles WH2 Badminton event at the Asian Para Games today (26 October).

Professor Alexander Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKBU, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ho-yuen: “We feel a sense of pride as Ho-yuen has demonstrated his resolute determination and resilience in overcoming challenges. His victory shines a bright light on the indomitable spirit of our university community. We will continue to support and encourage our student athletes in their pursuit of sporting excellence.”

Ho-yuen was enrolled to HKBU through the University’s Elite Athletes Admission Scheme to study in the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Physical Education and Recreation Management programme.
