HKBU to hold Information Day to share undergraduate admissions and programme information

Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) will hold its Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions on 5 October (Saturday). Secondary school students, parents and teachers are welcome to visit HKBU’s campuses in Kowloon Tong to participate in various activities and gather admissions and programme information. HKBU will also share its new plans and developments in the 2025/26 academic year, including the expansion of transdisciplinary education.
The HKBU Information Day will run from 10:00am to 5:30pm. It aims to showcase the latest developments of HKBU’s undergraduate programmes, as well as the teaching and learning environment, through a wide range of activities.
There will be three admissions talks tailored respectively for students with HKDSE, Associate Degree/Higher Diploma, and international qualifications. Meanwhile, HKBU’s faculties and schools, including the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, School of Business, School of Chinese Medicine, School of Communication, School of Creative Arts, Faculty of Science and School of Continuing Education, together with the Division of Transdisciplinary Undergraduate Programmes established for transdisciplinary programmes, will offer over 50 programme talks and thematic talks.
To provide prospective students, their families and other visitors with an opportunity to explore and understand HKBU’s learning and teaching environment, a variety of on-campus activities will be scheduled. These activities include guided tours to the University’s latest art tech and cutting-edge facilities, student residence halls, studios and laboratories. There will also be screening or showcase of graduate and student works, workshops and demonstrations in areas such as film scoring, glass blowing, jewellery making, graphic design and illustration, Chinese calligraphy, as well as students’ dance, musical band as well as karate performances. Participants will have the chance to interact with current students, teachers and alumni, gaining insights and latest information about different faculties and schools, and the wide array of programmes offered.

Free shuttle bus service between HKBU campuses and Kowloon Tong MTR Station (Exit D) will be made available to visitors between 9:50am and 5:40pm.
