《中藥材鑒定圖典》以繁體中文、 簡體中文出版後，先後被英、日、韓所在國家的專家翻譯並由當地出版社出版。

此次的德文版由國際著名漢學家文樹德教授（Professor Paul U Unschuld）夫婦用兩年時間翻譯完成。
