Mr Leung has similarly contributed to the development of sports and cultural activities across Hong Kong. Between 2005 and 2010 he was appointed by the Government of the HKSAR as a member of the Hong Kong Sports Commission. His work on behalf of the 2008 Olympic Hong Kong Equestrian Fund Raising Committee was formally recognised by the 2008 Beijing Olympic Committee.
