HKBU receives HK$30 million donation from Mr Stanley Yim

HKBU hosts a dinner to thank Mr Stanley Yim.

 

HKBU recently received a generous donation of HK$30 million from Mr Stanley Yim, Chairman of S.A.S. Dragon Holdings Limited, in support of the University's Institutional Strategic Plan 2018-2028 and the establishment of a student development fund designated for student exchanges, internships and innovative service-learning.

 

Mr Yim has always been enthusiastic about public welfare. He actively supports charities and social services in Hong Kong, and was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star by the Government.  

 

In recognition of the donor's generosity, a cheque presentation ceremony was held on 8 August 2019. It was officiated by Mr Stanley Yim; Mrs Virginia Yim; Dr Clement Chen, Chairman of the Council and the Court of HKBU; and Professor Roland Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKBU.
