Dr Janice Pan has been selected as a Fellow of the 2022-2023 United Board Fellows Program.

Dr Janice Pan, Associate Dean (Research) of the Faculty of Arts, and Associate Head and Associate Professor of the Department of Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies, has been selected as a Fellow of the 2022-2023 United Board Fellows Program.

Among the 30 Fellows from different disciplines, three are from Hong Kong this year. The Fellows will join a series of higher education leadership development programmes featuring activities devised by the virtual Leadership Institute and a final seminar in Singapore. They can also choose to go on an optional two-week study trip in Asia.

Dr Pan said she was honoured and excited to contribute to the Program. She said: “I hope very much to learn more about leadership and ways of dealing with challenges in higher education from the Program. I also look forward to communicating and networking with other Fellows of the Program in the coming year.”

Organised by the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia since 2002, the Program is dedicated to developing leaders within Asian higher education institutions for the advancement of whole person education within their home institutions.
