Cheung Ka Long, a student of the Physical Education and Recreation Management programme, has received three major honours at the "Cathay Pacific 2023 Hong Kong Sports Stars Awards". He has won the “Hong Kong Sports Stars Award for Men” for the fifth time and the "Cathay Best of the Best Hong Kong Sports Stars Award for Men" for three straight years. This year, he was awarded the "Hong Kong Sports Stars Awards for Sports Combination" with his fencing teammates.

The Awards were presented by the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China. The award presentation ceremony was held on 24 April.
