The Department of Biology has made a remarkable discovery that could change our understanding of how species survive in the face of disease, shedding light on the complex interactions between hosts and pathogens.

HKBU has collaborated with the Chinese Institute of Hong Kong of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the HKBU Shenzhen Research Institute to establish the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Base (Shenzhen).

An exhibition on campus, “Out of the Curve”, explored the connection between art and economics, showcasing the creative works of students from the School of Business as well as the Academy of Visual Arts under the School of Creative Arts.

A total of nine projects conducted by HKBU research teams achieved remarkable success at the 2025 International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva.
