HKBU International Writers' Workshop Literary Festival gathers overseas writers and emphasises well-being

The International Writers' Workshop (IWW) of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) will host its annual Literary Festival from 14 to 17 March with the theme "Writing and Well-being". This year's Festival will feature six international Writers-in-Residence who will virtually participate in various activities with readers to explore how writing can foster personal growth, encourage mindfulness, and increase emotional well-being.


The six international Writers-in-Residence include two poets from the UK, namely Andy Brown and Colin HerdColombian journalist Catalina Lobo-GuerreroFilipino fiction writer Glenn DiazPolish writer and filmmaker Marta Dzido; and Danish-Swedish writer and artist Matilde Søes Rasmussen. They will share their insights at different online events, such as the opening conversation, panel discussions, and writing workshops.
